should I send this
Dear xxx,
Thank you for offering me admission to your school. I am sorry to inform you that I will not be enrolling for the Fall 2010 term.
The process of selecting a school to attend is difficult, and many outstanding schools are receiving the same news. This is not a decision you should take personally. I have received offers from several qualified schools and am simply unable to accommodate all of them. I personally review each offer, so rest assured that yours received careful consideration.
I encourage you to continue striving for the high goals you have set for yourself in pursuing excellent students. Law school is a life changing experience and those students who do attend will benefit from all you have to offer.
xxxxxx yyyyyy
P.S. I thought you might get a kick out of this. I did

Don't include the PS. The joke is obvious, the PS ruins it.

Include at the end:
"If you remain interested in having me and are willing to offer me enough money, I may consider you as a transfer next year."

Don't be an asshole. The school took time to review your application and offer you admission (more than many, more gracious, individuals receive). Be polite, send them something halfway decent, and let them down the easy way.

I read this whole thing as a joke. Obviously if OP were going to send it, I'd share your sentiments completely. But I *think* it is a joke meant to mirror the denial letters that schools send.JessicaTiger wrote:Don't be an asshole. oh puleeez, that was directed towards jessicatiger. I knew it was a joke the whole time. Por favor, read what I had quoted before assuming stuff. That'd be appreciated, thanks.vexion wrote:Aaaaand the last horse crosses the finish line. You Gotta Have Faith wrote:I read this whole thing as a joke.
