Do rejections generally come before the acceptances?

I haven't been accepted anywhere after I received a rejection letter. Neither vice versa. My gut feeling tells me that they are mutually exclusive. HTH

Each office is different.

Usually the longer you wait the more borderline you are. That can mean they are trying to fit you into the class, or it can mean they don't really want to but are keeping you around because they need to.
