OK so I see people on the board posting about average LORs and excellent LORs but what makes the difference?
Is it really the strength of the LOR meaning what is actually written in the LOR? And if thats the case wtf should go in it that would make it excellent?
Or, is it the person writing the LOR that makes it top notch like the Dean of the College or even the President of your University?
I'm asking because I have 2 professors that I have gotten to know very well over the past few years who I know would write a dynamic LOR but I could also probably ask the Dean of my College, my boss from the internship I am doing this summer or the Director of Student Activities at my school. What do you guys think?
