Yeah, the Pac-10 is tricky, because the best schools are so good, but the worst schools are much lower ranked. They have four schools in the top 26, but four schools ranked between 100 and 150, and then a school down in "tier 3."

Taking Oregon State's ranking as a generous 175, the average ranking for a PAC-10 school is 73.6. The average ranking for a Big 10 school is 50.2. The average ranking of an ACC school is 48.7.

Note - I found this year's numbers for these posts. I realize that I was using last year's ACC numbers in my previous post, but it doesn't change the rankings or the comparisons.
