I received a $75k scholly from NYU but didn't get any of the named Scholly from Columbia, which is currently my top choice, but I'm still waiting to hear from Harvard (which is my overall top choice).
NYU added a very silly April 2nd deadline to their scholly so I'm attempting to quicken my response from CLS AND urge them to consider the NYU scholly when determining my aid.
NYU gave me my reward in a PW-protected .pdf, should I just print screen the award and attach it to my negotiation letter?
Would CLS just take my word for it? Is it appropriate for me to be sending private scholly letters to other schools?
I put together a rough draft of the email I want to send out tomorrow, it should go to the finaid office right?
Try not to quote the letter I am sending, in case I delete it later for privacy purposes. Feel free to PM me letters (or requests for mine once I've deleted mine here) that you have sent or any suggestions you have however.

You seem to be going about it in a round about way. These aren't Gods you are talking to. Be direct.

I've seen a couple other examples and they don't get much more direct.Borhas wrote:You seem to be going about it in a round about way. These aren't Gods you are talking to. Be direct.

"I promise I'll pick you guys over NYU if you can match 75k?"
