Thinking about doing all of this over again...

Suffice it to say my cycle hasn't gone as well as I would have liked, so I'm thinking about putting in a seat deposit at a school I wouldn't mind going to and then re-taking the LSAT in June to see if that would improve my chances for the next cycle (barring a miraculous offer from one or both of my last two reaches.) Of course I would have to re-tool my PS, but what about LOR's? Would it be OK to submit the same letters or would ad-comm's remember? I just don't feel like pestering my recommenders again. Thoughts?

Per your question: some schools specifically require a new batch of LORs and personal statement. If they don't put that out there, though, I doubt they would care or even notice.

I've thought about doing it over too. I got into some schools I like, but I've been getting really apprehensive about the debt outlook and would like to give myself a shot at more money. I'm unemployed, though, so I don't know what I'd do for the next year.

Except in my case I didn't get apps in until January/February due to some really awful circumstances in my life that I'm pretty sure no adcomms care about?

I really don't know what to tell you on this one b/c I'm in the same boat. Maybe someone who has done it will see this thread : )

I think it's definitely worth a shot...put downt the seat deposit, re-take and see if it would signicantly up your chances of schollys/better schools. Couldn't hurt.
