I think you got WL @ BC because of yield protection.acdisagod wrote:I think my LOCI's are the most logical explanation for the fact that I got waitlisted at BC but got into Fordham and Cornell. A lot of people also said don't send them pre-decision but admissions officers at Cornell and Georgetown said they are strongly encouraged. Thats very possible but if I wrote a LOCI I never would have gotten that yield protection waitlist. sure, but there are two types of WL. Yours where they want to YP. And mine where they like my GPA and think my LSAT is ok but would rather be LSAT-whores and try to get someone w/ a one or two point higher LSAT.
