LSAC GPA

Postby emoney8907 » Tue Mar 09, 2010 3:45 am

I'm sure similar questions have been asked numerous times already, but I just wanted to clarify.

My case is weird because I'm in an undergraduate business program that starts in everyone's sophomore year. When you start the program your GPA resets, which means that your college GPA does not include your freshman year grades.
Will my LSAC GPA include my freshman year grades? The grades show up on my transcript but are not calculated into the GPA. Also, if this is the case, my LSAC GPA will be quite higher than my college GPA because I had a very high GPA freshman year. Will this matter? Do law schools only care about the LSAC GPA or will they give my college GPA consideration also?

Any help or input in this would be greatly appreciated.

Your LSAC GPA includes all grades appearing on your transcript regardless of how your school GPA is calculated.

Law schools primarily care about LSAC GPA. Good news for you.
