I think they are still working on building power lines to Ithaca. It's a rural area and what not.

Really? What's the point of status checkers if the school doesn't put anything into them to make them worthwhile. Like the W&M "Decision Pending" which can mean a decision anywhere from two weeks to two months-plus.

No, just an admissions office to collect app fees.

they are underwater with the app increase. They say 8-12 weeks behind. I wonder if this increase won't end up hurting them somehow as the best candidates accept other offers...

Since Cornell is in a rural area with no electricity, they must sent e-mails using the IPoAC protocol [1]. Unfortunately, the pigeons keep flying into the gorges and dying, causing admissions responses to be lost and delayed.

Everyone in the lab just looked at me very strangely as I busted up laughing on this one.

Maybe they should stop sending out fee waivers to every 160+ LSAT score. Then their admissions office wouldn't look like this

Flame. Thomas Jefferson gets all fees waived, and also wrote a hell of a Diversity statement.

I really don't think I'm going to hear from them before I have to make a decision at other schools. They need to hire some more people or something.

Implementing a fee waiver that does not require them to process a check for reimbursement could also cut down on the admin time.

Yes. Just received a travel reimbursement for the ASW. Speedy response (1 day) for my request as well.

Sorry to be an asshole. But I do have a positive experience with the school, and I am puzzled at the non-response, especially considering that many of you have great numbers.

"I feel your pain."
