Email schools to expect new (MUCH higher) score?

I have already asked all of the schools to wait for my February LSAT score and most responded that they would.(retook due to medical issue during first exam) Got my score back today and it is significantly higher.

That being said, would it still be a good idea to send an email to every school saying something along the lines of "Please expect an updated score of XXX for my Feb LSAT" so as to give them a heads up and take my app out of the auto-denial stack? ;)

thx

They receive updated LSAC reports as soon as you get a new score.

Couldn't hurt, but they'll be getting the new score within days anyway. In fact, there are some signs that LSAC releases scores to schools earlier than it releases them to you.

I'm in a similar situation and sent a quick email to all of my pending schools asking them to update my file with my new score. I said I understand they will receive a formal score report from LSAC shortly but sent a screenshot of my LSAT status page for their reference.

I want to bump this because I'm in the same situation and my post is receiving no replies. Is the best way to do this to send a short and sweet email, or should it read more like a LOCI that mentions the improved LSAT?

I honestly can't imagine this hurting your chances. It sounds like a great idea to me.

Which of the two suggestions?

Oh sorry. I mean an LOCI-type email.

I sent LOCI-style e-mails to my WL schools and I sent one e-mail to another school to ask to switch from being considered for PT only to FT & PT and included my new score in all of them. I'll probably just leave my "Pending" apps alone and see what happens over the next week or so. Not ready to LOCI apps that I've heard nothing on because they may have just been waiting on the new LSAT.
