First, a lot of good options. Congrats!

But, where do you want to practice? What kind of law do you think you will end up pursuing (BigLaw? Public sector?). I think we need more information before giving you any advice.

I'd love to live in Northern Califnornia and I have some ties out there, but I could honestly see myself living just about anywhere. Seattle and San Francisco are great, I love Philly, DC is nice, and I've only heard oustanding things about Minneapolis (and I actually like cold weather, though I still need to visit).

I'd take USC or William & Mary, although U Washington is a good option too.

And I honestly don't have a clue to as what type of law I'd like to practice. I used to think international law, but after reading these boards I'm strating to think that's a pipedream.

I should add that I'd trade all of these acceptances for admission into Berkeley which, along with BC, didn't want me :(

If you can, visit USC, UC Davis, UC Hastings, U Wash and Minnesota. Try to get money from one or more of them? My choice would be USC because of its rank and its reputation in CA. But if you have no interest in Southern California, Davis or Hastings might be a better option.

To be honest, your flexibility will make this decision more difficult. All of those schools are regional with USC probably being the least so of the batch.

USC is the "best" school I've gotten into, but SoCal is the one area on here that I wouldn't be too high on living (not totally against it, but I'd prefer the other places) and if I go the Cali route I feel like Hastings would be my choice. I know USC is a better school, however.

Anyone know how whether or not USC would be better in NorCal than Davis or Hastings? I've already visited Hastings and Davis (and Santa Clara), but I haven't been to USC or UDub yet.

Research firms in NorCal to get a poor, but mildly useful sample of what JDs populate the area.

I've been thinking about this, too. Honestly I feel like Davis and Hastings *should* offer me something, no matter how little it is, but I'm not quite sure how to go about this, haha. Do I just call them up and ask?

From what I've seen on TLS, this has been a long-standing debate. Some argue that Hastings is better than USC for NorCal. Some argue the opposite. Honestly, if you love Northern California and San Francisco, Hastings is a good choice. But, still, I would visit those California schools, look at some employment data and make a decision afterwards.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Back in October I was told by someone that only Berkeley and Stanford and a few other T14s (like maybe Chicago and Columbia) were better for NorCal than Hastings, but Im not sure if I believe this.
