Sometimes a perfectly placed "bro" can make me lol.
Made me laugh, too. It was almost as if he put his hand on my shoulder and said it with a look of utter sincerity.

For some reason my mind went directly to Kent.

Haha the only real exception to this is U of Houston - oh Texas is a saturated market, believe it or not.

You heard the man, go to a top 14 or open your own law firm. Because those are two equally great ways to succeed fresh out of law school.

As long as you're "creative" in doing so, you should be in great shape

I empathize with this guy (as long as he doesn't go crash a plane into his law school).

Can't I run for Senate? That's an option. Or maybe I could sue big tobacco by myself and become a real life Grisham-esque hero. Ambassador to Puerto Rico?

Because MTal is basically like the OP. Went to T2 school, was dissatisfied. Dropped out. Stayed in the forum to "warn" people.

Well, at least OP didn't take out 150K in loans to attend a school like Syracuse for undergrad (Or maybe he did. I don't know.). That would be worse, and there are people who do that. Buck up, OP. Maybe you'll be a big shot after all.

I'm going to a T2 school. Heard the same advice on here. I said to myself rankings don't matter. Its bogus.

You are likely going to end up with a few C's and B's. Or worse.

You will apply for summer internships and not understand why no one is caling you back.

The school i go to now is just making a profit from dumb clowns like me who assumed they would get in the top 10 percent through studying and hard work. I had one test that had mutiple choice questions stating what would Jesus believe we should do in this situation? In a property course.

There is no quality control. So basically if you finish out of the top 10 percent you won't get a good high paying law job.

People are walking around depressed that there decent grades are no better than the people who got C's.

The depression will kick in midway through your second semester. Then you will see everyone in your class on facebook. Not giving a damn.

Study hard for the LSAT and get to a T14. I thought it was just about prestige before. Law school is BULL CRAP.
What the fuck do you know? You're just a 1L. By the way, this is trolltastic!!! :D

P.S. - You should have made 10-20 in-context posts prior to this one to lend credibility to this flame. As it stands, it's comedic value is almost overshadowed by it's flaming improbability of being legitimate. I said almost. It's still funny.

Thanks for the post OP. We need posts like this to bring all the T2/3/4 lovers down to earth.

Although I do have a sneaking suspicion that it might be a flame in response to all the "going to T3 is a good decision for me" threads.

Regardless, its a good point.

It's not a flame, I suspect, this happens to many, many people.

The students not giving a fuck and surfing facebook comment is spot on.

Might not be a flame. In that case his timing is great.

The spectrum of law schools is filled with unmotivated individuals that would likely struggle in any career field. The unmotivated are probably far less concentrated at the T-14, but T1 grads that fail to succeed in law are probably significantly more pissed than their TTT counterparts b/c they thought the JD from XYZ guaranteed a great job.

Sitting in your room at your parents house playing on TLS (after you are no longer involved in law school) =/= "Backup plan"

True. There are lazy, socially inept jagoffs who can pull a 170 on the LSAT, just as there are boring, lazy, socially inept jags who pull 150's and 160's.
