So I applied to Stanford earlier december and haven't gotten anything since my initial application email, not even an application complete notification. I'm not very optimistic about my chances (in fact I'm sure I'll be rejected but figured I'd give it a shot) so it's not a big deal to me, but have other people gotten more emails from them?

They are a quiet school. I've heard that many people never received a "complete" e-mail from them. You could always e-mail the admissions office and ask if your application has been processed and is complete.

A lot of people last year didn't hear from them until 4/15 or 5/1. First notice. It seems most of those were WL/Rejection, but I have a friend who heard from them 5/1 (WL) and actually was accepted off the waitlist in July.

Yup. Also, we currently have no evidence for any non-URMs admitted to Stanford since 2/1. They're just relaxed and slow about admissions. Which is fine with me; schools with rapid turnarounds make me more nervous.
