I have been consistently getting 160's on practice LSAT's. Lets say I am favored by the gods on the June 2010 LSAT test and get a 162, with a GPA of 3.2, what kind of schools would I be looking at? (162/3.2 is probably my best case scenario)

Any insight is helpful. If anyone happens to be familiar with Southern California schools, I am interested in Pepperdine, but is it realistic for me?

Thanks.

Given a 162 and 3.2 pepperdine is a good target school and I say you have a good. shot. Your expectations seem to align with reality already.

Do some research verified by ABA. Should help some.

Good thing, otherwise the TLS elitist squad would be down your throat in no time.

Unless you need to do it for graduation, there will not be any benefit to retaking courses messed up. You should only take courses that will give you definite and easy A's to improve your LSAC gpa.

1) Retaking will not help your LSDAS GPA. Instead of retaking classes, take on some easy A classes. Make all classes as easy as possible.

2) Your LSAT is far more limiting than your GPA. Your GPA and 171 this cycle was good enough to ED into Penn. The LSAT is what you need to worry about. If possible, take the fall LSAT instead of summer and spend the summer after graduation prepping for the test.

Law school predictor does not agree. It has a 162/3.2 at weak consider.

Just keep your GPA above a 3.0 and study your ass off for the LSAT. If you are scoring in the 160 range now and aren't taking the test til June, you have plenty of time to improve your score. The LSAT is very learnable, no reason why you shouldn't be aiming higher than a 162.

Read Pithypikes guide, get your bibles and take all 60 practice tests. Take the easiest possible classes. Unfortunately, hard classes are for suckers.
