I live in Portland OR and I can't leave so Lewis and Clark is my only option. L&C has rolling admission with a cut off date of March 1. I was in a terrible car accident that totaled my car 1.5 weeks before the December LSAT and I suffered a moderate concussion. Needless to say taking the LSAT with a concussion didn't get me a great score, not one that I could use for my application. I signed up for the February LSAT which is this weekend but the more I think about it the more I think I should just wait to apply next year. When I met with a woman from the admission dept. at L&C she said that even applying after the December results posted would be too late. What to do? I don't get having a cut off date if people who apply close to it aren't really considered.

Also will my LORs stay in my LSAC account to use next year?

omg you are a trooper! Instead of pushing yourself, though, why not heal a little more and de-stress? Take the LSAT in June, which would give you a great margin if you need to take again in September, and apply next cycle?
When I took last February the admissions were really not happy about having to wait for my score, and one school sent a very terse note that required me to acknowledge, in writing, that I was putting myself at a disadvantage! (ouch). So, who needs that? Rest up, and don't feel you've lost your momentum. Au contraire! Think of it as getting a jump start on 2011 admissions and call your self ahead of the game.

Yes life has been incredibly stressful since the accident, I also broke some ribs, definitely haven't recovered from that, I'm sure I'm not fully recovered from the concussion either. I'm back in school getting my paralegal certificate (which was always a second legal career option/back-up plan) and I'm going through a divorce and custody battle and OMG the paperwork I've been having to do ever since the accident has been close to a full time job.

Sorry I'm kind of losing it on here right now, it's all sort of catching up to me.
