Is it time for a why X???

Post by acdisagod » Tue Feb 02, 2010 2:26 pm

Hello, I went complete at my schools in late Novemeber and early December and have yet to here back from anyone (except NYU ED). At this point, would writing Why X's or LOCI's be a good idea? I read on the thread posted by Ken that this could just have the effect of moving my application to the back of the pile. Do the potential benefits outeigh the potential risks?

Check with the school. Call up admissions and ask if submitting additional material will move you back. Why X essays are always good. Just out of curiosity, why didn't you send one in the first place?

There seems to be a lot of ppl who say if the school wanted one, they would ask for it. Calling and asking seems like the best solution.
