Fall grades - LSAC or Admissions?

hey everyone,

I turned in my transcripts to LSAC a while back in summer but I have just applied (cancelled Sept score had to take Dec LSAT). What should I do about my fall grades? They would not change my LSAC gpa and they're consistent with previous semesters (As, one A-). Should I send them in or not bother? (and if I do, where should i send them LSAC or admissions? I don't know if it will help or just delay my application. I applied to a bunch of T14s and some other ones.

I was wondering this same thing. My GPA went up by .02 and I wasn't sure if it was worth it to send them, or where to send them if I did.

I ended up calling the admissions offices of all the schools I had yet to hear from, and 3/5 said to just send it as a .pdf directly to the admissions office. The other two wanted me to send them to LSAC again, which I decided wasn't worth it because a) Those are my reaches, and the LSAC GPA probably isn't changed so it wouldn't matter anyway and b) it would probably just delay my decision with minimal impact.

If you want the schools to see your fall grades, send a transcript to LSAC. LSAC sends an updated report to every school you have a complete application with for free. This does not delay an application in the same way as waiting for an LSAT score delays an application. In fact, school may make their decisions before they get the updated report. If you are going to LS following this cycle anyway, and your grades don't raise your GPA, just wait until the school you end up going to requests your final official transcript. When this happens, you send it to the school, not LSAC.
