you should waive your rights, or schools may not take them seriously.

When in doubt, waive access. Then you have nothing to worry about. If you are unsure whether to waive access, that speaks volumes about the recommendations you *think* you are sending on your behalf.

Re: Waiving LORs
I waived, but I asked my recommenders to send me a copy for my files. All were happy to do so, and it avoids any problems.

Re: Waiving LORs
If you send them through LSAC do you have to waive them?

Yep, waived. But my recommendation writers showed me the letters anyways... haha.SôngHươngNúiNgự wrote:Did you waive access rights to your letters of recommendation? If not, will you request to see them when you attend school? Why or why not?

Re: Waiving LORs
You don't have to, but you to have to indicate, on the form sent to your schools, whether you have waived the right or not.brass_monkey wrote:If you send them through LSAC do you have to waive them?

Re: Waiving LORs
When you register for LSDAS on LSAC.org, the form is available in the Letters of Recommendation section. It is the form you need to give to the person writing your recommendation.
