UNC In-state cutoffs

Post by Killacam18 » Thu Jan 28, 2010 4:08 pm

Anyone have an idea on chances for an in-stater with a 3.04/168? With their high in-state requirement was wondering if these numbers have a decent shot.

Not good...only 5 out of 32 applicants with similar numbers were accepted. But you have in state going for you. UNC places a good amount of weight on GPA.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, I have seen all the numbers from the applicant pool at large but no idea if those numbers hold true for IS vs OOS. Just curious, always knew it was going to be a reach.

There are 4 past applicants on LSN with in state and similar numbers. Out of the 4, 2 were waitlisted and 2 were rejected. Regardless of whether you get into UNC I'm sure you will have some great options!
