I will definitely be going too. I don't think I will hear until a week before the program starts though, seeing as how my numbers are not high. :-/

If I don't get in here or Brooklyn I may wait till the next cycle and just apply on the first day possible. Applying in Feb/March was so dumb of me :(

Is it basically the same time frame to get rejected as it is to be accepted/waitlisted?

sat in on a class today... wasn't quite impressed. however, there is a 99% chance that I am going. The benefits of staring in May are just too hard to pass up...

Btw, did everyone get the deposit deadline notice? I am under the impression that people get different deadlines depending on when they were admitted. Any comments on that?

why weren't you impressed? What were you expecting? Can you talk about your experience please?

hi knickfan,
I sat in through 1 entire class, so I am judging just by what I saw. The professor (I wouldn't mention her name) was very personable and sweet. However, she didn't strike me as a great law educator - she sneered at students' questions and joked around instead of addressing and analyzing very good questions, like a decent professor should. And she wasn't pressed for time, just didn't know the answers (or was too lazy to address the questions). I've seen lots of law professors in other schools and sat in on about 10 classes.... She was one of the weakest profs I've seen....

Please take this review with the grain of salt. I am only judging 1 professor... My feeling is that Cardozo's faculty is excellent overall. It was just a little disappointing to see a mediocre one...

good to know...i agree that you should keep it in mind but not let it be a reflection of the school...maybe she was having an off day or she was hungover or something...

Does anyone know how many sections there are in the may first year class? I believe there are around 75 may starters, that would be a pretty big section if there were just 1. On the other hand if there is more than 1, the sections would be smaller than usual.

Hi all -- I know that I am just one more to add to the list of people waiting to hear from Cardozo May Program but went complete 3/8, 160, 3.5

I wish I hadn't waited so long but does anyone know around when I'll hear? What is the chance of admissions at this point?

Anyone who has recently heard mind sharing their stats?

Last year I believe there was 109. I remember asking someone at the admissions office this...I may have also found it on their site. I forget now lol. But definitely more than 75.

Stupid question, you ready?

What's a section? Is it like a group of students. If so, I don't want to be in a class with 50 kids?! What happen to student to faculty ratio?

A section is kind of like a class. Most schools have at least 50 students per section.

I visited the school today and afterward went on status checker and saw decision was rendered and sent. I spoke to someone at the admissions office... I don't think I got in because my seat deposit is still zero? I mean should that change? How I'd they notify you guys? The law school is closed at 4 today I believe. Do I have to wait to hear about the decision until Monday? Shit...

Can anyone help?

not a good sign...sorry

check your email maybe they wait listed you (in which case they email) otherwise I believe you are a reject if there is not an amount on the status checker and if you did not get an email

just learned the seat deposit thing doesn't mean anything. Phew. Someone I know was accepted without a seat deposit amount. But it says decision rendered 4/19. Like wtf. Gotta wait till Monday? Ugh
