Unfortunately the wait could be much longer. I've heard of people being accepted the second week in April to the May program. Pack your bags! quickly!

My page finally went to "decision rendered and sent" as of 2/8. I am guessing since I didn't get a call or email I'm not in. Only thing is that I'm going to be in Philadelphia this weekend and would want to go visit the school if I got in (I'm in Texas so it's not like I'd wanna make another flight anytime soon). I doubt the letter will reach me by Friday when I leave, so would it be terrible for me to call or email them and explain the situation?

On that note, if they can change your status on your personalized, secure website to "decision rendered and sent", I don't understand why they can't just post there if you got in or not. I mean this is cruel! Good luck everyone!

Hey!

Got my acceptance letter on Jan 29. Is anyone attending the Admitted Students Day on March 18?

Prana479, this isn't foolproof but check if there is seat deposit info on the bottom left corner of your status checker page. If there isn't don't panic it doesn't necessarily mean you weren't accepted. You can definitely try explaining the situation to admissions, I have had schools give me their decisions over the phone before. Cantop, there is a "sneak peak" admitted student half-day on the 15th of Feb.

So if there is a seat deposit does that mean I was accepted? Because there is and there definitely wasn't before.

If there is a seat deposit with amounts due that means you are accepted.

Did you receive a phone call, or just mail when you were accepted?

You would think they would take these things into consideration.. Knowing some people have to plan their lives around this.. quit their jobs.. Although I assume it's more because they want to see how many people who didn't get into FT are open to May. Still seems slightly illogical for May applicants not to have heard back.

Any idea how late they were notifying people about the May Program last year?

Sorry..what's this about the May Program? I've been complete and under review since early February. I applied the same day as a friend and he got in with a $30,000 per yer offer three weeks ago. We're both Hispanic but my stats were better and I'm a female so I thought I'd definitely get in. Thoughts on their selection process?

IIRC, a dean's certificate is required with the application if you answered "yes" to the questions about academic probation, etc. Anyone who is admitted and decides to attend will need to submit dean's certificates (if they didn't need to send one with their app.).

It probably got stuck at the end of a pile on someone's desk.

Anyone else starting to write off Cardozo's May program due to the obvious ridiculousness of hearing back from a school (and not a school notorious for excellent placement) only a mere month before beginning law school?

Poor showing Cardozo.
