What kind of tv are you bringing to law school?
Come on,
Not everybody is going to law school without a television. For those of you who are bringing a TV, what are you working with? Cable or satellite?
Me-
42'' Panasonic Plasma. Had it for three years and it is a strong soldier and served me well throughout undergrad. It was my first big expenditure and love it to death. Plus Hockey and Football still look amazing on it. Def planning on having the NHL and NFL ticket (probably a recipe for disaster but whatevs).

Meh. Planning on buying a LED backlit 24" 1920x1200 monitor sometime later on for school stuff and the occasional movie. Nothing much more.

42in 720p LCD Toshiba Regza. Have a blu-ray player hooked up along with a 5.1 Onkyo system. Sitting 8-10 feet away it looks great. Should be good through law school. I'll probably reward myself with a 50+ inch 1080p display once I get a job after graduation.

50" Panasonic Viera plasma. Bought it a year ago, my first big expenditure on myself. As far as cable/satellite... Whatever my roommate would want. All last year we didn't even have cable. Just used it for movies and XBox.

If I live in a dorm, 26" LCD. If I live in an apartment, I'll put my 50" panasonic plasma to good use.

52 in LCD tat served me well for years. Though I'd like to splurge on a 42 in LED after seeing one in Best Buy.

not planning to watch tv. You know.. b/c I'm studying.
So nothing.
If I really need the tv... I'll just watch reruns on abc or something like that when I have free time.

have a 40" samsung touch of color right now, but i'll probably give that to my parents and downgrade to a 37" vizio or something for the likely move cross-country and law school. come to think of it, i'll just order it when i get there.
edit: xbox360 with streaming netflix and cable/satellite for entertainment.

I have a 50" Plasma 720P and a 46" LCD 1080P. I don't know which to hook up to my 5.1 JBL Cinema System. I plan on purchasing a house near campus and haven't decided on an entertainment setup yet.

LAWLZ. Funny you should say that! I've been idly browsing notebooks around and the 14z is among a few I'm looking at. Tough to find a notebook that's 5 pounds or less with a dedicated GPU that can play SC2 just fine!
