I got one of my recommenders a mug w/ a joke re the class she taught on it + coffee. I think she really liked it. It was very personal.

I was originally just going to give mine handwritten thank you notes and this mug because it's my most favorite mug ever (LinkRemoved). Then we were getting books from the library that were destined for recycling for the set of our next play (I work in my school's theatre dept) and I grabbed a couple from the pile that fit with the classes I'd taken from said profs, and included those in the gift.

Did this + a gift card. Though the gift card was donated to a charity of my choice because he felt awkward accepting it (he offered it back to me but I told him to pay it forward). He also wrote a baller LOR
