I was just in your situation. I started school last week with one professor who had sent their letter 2 months ago and another who was still lagging after numerous promises. So when I got back to school last monday I asked a professor from Fall to write me one and explained the situation. He wrote it by Thursday and faxed it the same day. It was in at LSAC by Friday and I sent all 15 of my apps out that same day. Don't know what my chances are, but at least its now out of my hands.

You can apply to schools whenever you want, but you will not have gone complete until their min requirement # of LORs have been received.

So if my boss claims that she faxed it last Wednesday, and it still hasn't been received, I should probably ask her to fax it again since my deadline is in 3 days?

Yes, I have never heard of a faxed LOR taking that long.

Yes, I have never heard of a faxed LOR taking that long.
Alright, I guess I'll do that when she gets in the office, since my academic letter was sent last Monday by regular mail and was switched to receive this morning or last night.
