Hofstra is my safety and I just checked my status and it says "deferred until march"

should I be worried???

I'm not sure thats a safety then. A ton of people with the same type of stats at Cornell were deferred.

my gpa makes it so that no school is really a safety, but hofstra seemed to be a given. everyone on lsn has gotten in with similar gpas and lsats, so I didnt think it would be much of an issue. why would they defer until march? *worried* that doesnt make me feel very good about the rest of my cycle

hey, it's better than a reject. you're still in the pool, and it's not too late in the cycle yet bud. I'd chalk it up to YP, you did apply to others as well, right?

You sound kind of like me. My GPA is way low but my LSAT can get me into some schools. FWIW, I was rejected at DePaul and Miami, but accepted at Loyola (same rank) and waitlisted at ND so these law school decisions are very unpredictable. Hang in there and you'll be fine I'm sure. Good luck
