Published Photographer-good soft or drop in the bucket?
I was an on-set photographer for a pretty popular cooking show and the host just emailed me that she would like to feature my photos in her new cookbook.
Is this worth a line on the resume?

absolutely. how many food network photographers do you think adcomms get?
also, that's an interesting tidbit. last time i checked, most people like interesting tidbits. and adcomms are (mostly) made of people. so check and check.

Being a huge fan of food network (I even wrote about this in my DS), I'm interested to know what show (if you are allowed to divulge)

Dude/Dudette, that's wicked cool!

While I don't think it's good enough to get you in somewhere where you otherwise have no shot, it's definitely cool, makes you stand out a bit, and is certainly worth a line on your resume.
