GULC PT: Do 1Ls need to work during the day? Forum

GULC PT: Do 1Ls need to work during the day?

I am thinking about applying to GULC PT and then transferring to the FT division after 1L. My question is, do students usually work during 1L or is it ok to focus on school during that period? Is it looked down upon if you don't work?

I am an intl applicant and finding a job may be extra hard for me and I think my F1 status will only allow for on campus work anyways.

I hope I'm wrong, but it is my believe that you must be enrolled Full time to keep your F1 status.

Only FT students can get an F1 visa.
