I got Cardozo, Cleveland-Marshall, Villanova, and UVA yesterday, but no one today.

I also got really nice replies from Michigan, Vanderbilt, and Columbia saying that they use CRS for merit-based fee waivers. (Michigan specifically said they've gotten so many requests for fee waivers that they are now just using CRS, and if for some reason you would qualify but you never the email, you won't pay the fee at checkout.)

I also got a cold reply from Chicago saying they use CRS.

What are you requesting in these emails? I sent one to WUSTL but I'm not sure if my format was correct.
Also, does Chicago's reply mean that if you didnt get one via email you're not getting one?

Sending your LSAT score and/or GPA (depending on the strength of both relative to the school) in a polite email is generally sufficient if they're going to give you one a merit based one without the CRS. If they say they want financial aid stuff, they'll either have a form for you to fill out (like Duke) or you can just send them a screenshot of your undergrad finaid info from this year if they don't and you think it's pity-inducing enough. Those two approaches are what have worked for me.

This is basically it.

With Chicago they basically said the same thing that Michigan or Vanderbilt said, just in a colder way. Basically, they said that I might be getting one but they totally go through the CRS, but I SOOOO should've known that if I had bothered to read their website (in so many words).

I got two unsolicited waivers (UVA and Cardozo) right after I got my score. Planning to ask for a few more on Monday when the offices open back up.

I applied for the LSAC fee waiver for shits and giggles. Got an instant NO!

i got rejected despite the fact that i'm unemployed and have almost no savings based on my parents' 2008 income though their 2009 income is 0 and they don't support me. Awesome!

I'm sure these schools have a huge backlog after 10 days of vacation, but I did get a fee waiver from Albany Law (request).

As I was posting this, got a fee waiver (requested) from St. Louis University Law, but with an expiration of 1/18 (two week expiration!).

Just got Arizona (Rogers) waiver in email (also requested).

Also, just now got VIRGINIA! Woo! T14 Waiver!

These things are rolling in. If it weren't for TLS, I wouldn't have thought to send out these requests for schools I was interested in.

Hate to keep being the only poster (has no one else been getting waivers?) on this thread at the moment, but just received NYLS for checking the LGBT box. I don't think I'd apply there, but it's a pretty nice, detailed letter for LGBT students.

Rolark, what are your numbers?

I haven't seen anything from Georgetown, though I sent them an email a week ago that they haven't responded to...

I was just about to rage post about how I didn't get any fee waivers that I requested and how every law school must hate me, but I saw your post and checked and I got that one too. My day is completely redeemed!

It's nothing against Akron. After spending 4 years living in rural Ohio, I'm trying to go somewhere else...

I'm a re taker, and my original two tests were in the low 160's. With my retake, my LSAT jumped over their 75th, and my GPA is just at their 75th.

Sorry about the ambiguity, but anyone wants to PM me, I can be more specific.

I am going to assume that if people got fee waivers from W&M this weekend, and I didn't, that I should not expect one.

I am still going to ask them. But as we learned from Gone with the Wind, "Askin' ain't gettin'!"

I had requested one... it wasn't unsolicited for me.

Just got unsolicited waiver from Pepperdine saying, "hey, you might get free tuition and stipend, and look at the campus!" However, I'm LGBT, and I don't know why they would have that info at their fingers and still send out a waiver. I know Pepperdine is one of the three most conservative in T1 and T2, so I'm pretty sure I won't even waste the $12. I mean, they aren't cool with liberal views or gender issues as far as I can tell - right?

Just received unsolicited one from the University of Minnesota, which I hadn't really considered. I guess I will now...

What are your numbers? URM?

Edit: Just got the Minnesota waiver! I wasn't considering them that much, but I guess I have to apply now. Mine were 166/3.75

Mine are 3.6/171, in case anyone was curious, and I'm not a URM.
