I have a programmatic essay for UCLA that I would like to swap (for another similar essay or a personal statement, either one).

I'd love to swap with someone if anyone is interested. I work at the writing center at my school, so I do have a fair amount of experience reading these things. :)

I have to rescind my offer to proofread personal statements. I just don't have the time during the school year. To those who have sent me their PS already, I apologize.

Interested in swapping with any of you who feel up for a good read, as well as some really incisive critiquing.

I've received about half a dozen PS's to swap. I actually plan to work with all six of you, but it may take me until Weds/Thurs at the latest to see them and give my perspective. Just letting y'all know in advance.

So right now I'm working on my PS, will be looking to swap later, but just curious if my topic is a good one. I'm writing about a class I had where college students went to our state penitentiary and had a class with 15 inmates (most in for 25+ years) and how it made me decide that becoming a lawyer was what I wanted to do with my life. Is that a good topic or should I make that just a paragraph and have other accomplishments in there as well?
