write addendum for 2 cancellations and 8 point score difference?

Post by Anonymous User » Mon Jan 15, 2018 12:33 pm

I have two scores and two cancellations. I cancelled in Oct 2015, got a 159 in Dec 2015, cancelled in Sept 2017, and got a 167 in Dec. 2017. Should I address both my score increase and my cancellations? Or just the score increase? My reason for cancelling twice was extreme anxiety during the test. I have a 3.83 GPA so I performed well academically in college. I don't want to make myself seem like I can't handle tests in law school or the bar exam, but if I don't address the cancellations, will that hurt me?

Advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks for the feedback. Just out of curiosity, why do you say not to address anything? Thanks!

they don't care. they just want your score so they can report it. same with your gpa. they don't care how you got your grades - just that you have those grades.

No. There isn't any need to bring attention to the 159 or the fact you have anxiety. Unless they specifically ask for an addendum for large increases, I wouldn't write one.
