Generic vs Specific PS

Post by kacontreras2015 » Sun Oct 22, 2017 5:23 pm

I have basically finished a generic version of my PS, and I plan to tack on a personalized paragraph at the end of each app's PS specifying why I want to go that law school. My PS is just about 2 pages long, and there are some schools that limit the PSs to no longer than 2 pages. For the schools with limits, should I just send in the general personal statement? It's pretty strong and evident what type of law I want to go into on its own, so I don't feel the "why X" paragraph is really that important. Any advice??

I think you're better off just submitting a generic PS and then a "Why X?" statement for the schools you're very interested in.
