Is my topic effective?

Post by Anonymous User » Fri Oct 13, 2017 4:12 pm

I'm struggling a lot with my topic. I decided to go with a hardship but I focus it around my mom instead of myself because it's easier for me. I would really appreciate if someone could read it and be honest with me. Its about 500 words and will be modified to fit each prompt outlines for specific law schools I am applying to.

This is also my first post on this. Do I paste my essay here or do I send it directly to people who are open to reading it?

You can do either, depending on how comfortable you are with sharing your essay on the internet (you can also edit the post to delete it after you get enough feedback).
I'd take a look, but just based on your original question, I would say that if the essay focuses on your mother's hardship rather than your own, then no, it's not a good topic - but maybe I'm misunderstanding.
