Sometimes I feel like there is an overlap in some addenda and diversity statements. I've read that adcomms generally anticipate skimming addenda (they are usually not super interesting) and carefully considering diversity statements. I don't know if it would be better to submit this as a diversity statement--just something for you to consider.

Assuming you took equal credits throughout, your overall GPA should be around a 3.6 right? Could be off base here, but you probably do not need to submit a GPA addendum for that, especially when the upward trend will be apparent from your CAS report.

Don't do an addendum; this is not type of scenario GPA addenda are meant to address

Thanks for the comments. I do understand that this is not the most typical GPA addendum scenario. I was thinking along the lines of submitting this as an additional optional essay. For example, Penn seems to have an open topic optional essay where one of the topic is "If you do not think that your academic record or standardized test scores accurately reflect your ability to succeed in law school, please tell us why."
I might have to trim this down a little, but do you guys really think it's TMI?

If you do submit it, make it a paragraph, an addendum isn't an essay.
