International students: Why Study law in USA?

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Aug 25, 2015 3:26 pm

Is it appropriate to mention, in a personal statement, why I want to study law in the USA? I am an international applicant that will be applying during the 2015-2016 cycle. I have specific reasons for wanting to attend each of the schools that I am applying to - and these reasons are mentioned and supported in my personal statement to each school. I feel that those specific reasons would have more force and carry more weight with admissions committees than mentioning why I want to study in the US as opposed to...Britain or Austrailia...etc.

Thoughts?
