Topic Help

So I had an idea for my Personal Statement. I wanted to discuss either two things: My sophomore year in College sparking my interest in Law, mainly with a program called Congress to Campus and another where my school hosted a Senatorial Debate. The other one was talking about how I was involved in a civic engagement program that promoted voting, but using global citizenship and equality as an avenue. I was given the opportunity to meet the former governor of my state, Bob Graham, and given an opportunity to have a Q&A with him and introduce him at a convention. Which one sounds better?
