I wrote a few different drafts of a personal statement, as well as one for a diversity statement. However, it appears that the diversity one is stronger than my personal one, and I'm leaning heavily towards just using it as my PS. What are your thoughts on this? I would probably recycle one of my original PS topics as a diversity statement, since I'm less invested in those. It's very clearly addressing "diversity", though--my statement, for example, is about my experiences as an Asian American, tied in with my relationship to my father. I'm hoping to also discuss my interest in human rights (which is where I hope to go). I'm just not sure if switching the statements would be advisable.
