What's the longest acceptable length for the GULC PS?

They say that there's no maximum length but I feel like I'm testing their patience if I go over 3 pages double spaced.

As you can tell by my username, I'm a splitter and my PS will be a significant part of my application. For what it's worth, I feel like I can write a good one but I just don't know if 3 pages will be enough to convey everything I want to convey.

I think part of being a competent writer is the ability to make your point succinctly. If you find yourself having trouble "conveying everything you want to convey," it might be time to think about what the central message of your personal statement is and how to order your thoughts around that. While two pages might not be very much, I think it's a length that allows you to coherently express yourself.

I think you should shoot for two pages. I know it can be a lot to fit your life narrative in a small space, but you should think from the readers perspective. They read hundreds of these a year, and there's no reason to test their patience.
