Do you think it's a good idea to mention my aspirations to eventually teach law in my personal statement? I have a decent shot at HYS (hoping for YLS obviously, given my long-term goal), but I'm not sure how admission officers at those schools will view such an aspiration.

Since you presumably haven't been through a single course in law school, it seems a little odd to me to present legal academia as your clear goal rather than as something you'd like to explore and learn more about, but I'm not an adcomm. I doubt it would help you in any way with YHS (though Chicago might treat it as a signal of interest on your part), but it probably wouldn't actively hurt you. I mean, people admitted to top schools write fairly often about wanting to study and practice in essentially non-existent fields like "international law" and "international human rights." Your aspiration is less common, but it's not objectively less reasonable.
