Re: Using a footnote in a PS?
Probably not, but what is the context? Are you citing a source or providing additional information?

Re: Using a footnote in a PS?
Thanks for keeping it real guys.
Gradvocates Editing, I was mentioning a theory that similar to how my time overseas in the service eliminated my hyper-active disorder (ADHD), the relentless work ethic I developed in college eliminated my ADD. My evidence was that I was diagnosed twice with ADD, then the third time I went to get diagnosed I no longer had it. The first two diagnoses were at 13 and right when I left the service; my third diagnosis was during my senior at Tufts. I used about three sentences to explain this and used it in a footnote because I did not want to ruin the flow of my PS. But I actually feel that having a footnote does ruin the flow more.
