As little blah blah blah as possible. You could do something like this:

date/charge

on this date, this happened, this happened in court, fines are paid/ community service completed, etc.

"I have had no such charges since"

^ that's about as little personal explanation you should include.

Yeah, this is what I want to do and feel that I should do. I just hope I don't get someone who wants more.

If they want more I imagine they would ask. For the most part I'm of the impression schools just ask to be certain you'll be admitted to the Bar and you're not some psychopath (though, I'm sure there's plenty of them). You'll be fine with just the facts and if it makes you feel better you can throw in a sentence saying something like the "i haven't been in trouble since"
