Interesting that the first evidence you use to support having a "stable" life is that you've had a steady boyfriend for a while. While that might mean something to you because of your experience with your mother, you need to make sure you DON'T make this some sloppy mom-hating journal entry. How long you've had a boyfriend is irrelevant to everyone but you, and I suspect your PS will take the shape of "I'm good because I'm not like my mom, who is bad". Please don't do that.

The only way this PS will be successful is if you give it an overwhelmingly positive message about your resilience and personal growth, not about how bad you had it. No one really wants to read about someone being victimized if it doesn't end up being (potential) a success story.
