DS Statement

Postby NiccoloA » Tue Oct 04, 2011 12:38 am

I'm a white male, so I'm wondering if I should bother writing a diversity statement if the topic is about coming from a family where the father was in prison and the mother filed for bankruptcy.

If you think its worthwhile, I've written the statement, so if you're interested in swapping, PM me.

Diversity doesn't just have to be an ethnic situation. It can also imply diverse economic or social conditions. I'd contend that your circumstance applies, especially if it's part of the reason for you attending law school. I say go for it.
