I think this is quite good. It's rare that it manages to take a personal story and tie it into your law school aspirations in a very direct, meaningful way.

I don't see any huge problems as is, although a real-world example of how religious ethics and financial regulation affect each other, or a philosophical point which relates to finance, would make the idea more concrete and real.

Aren't "greed and avarice" redundant ?

The final paragraph is weak.
