A PS can't really be considered "general" if it references a specific school. That's what the Why X is for...

i see.

then to ask a branch off of the first question,

what should be the appropriate way to write a PS, if you have a why xxx?

meaning, should the PS just contain at the end, "conclusively, WUSTL will help me reach these goals and aspirations. the end"

OR

should i at least add in a sentence or two about the specifics. Then in my why WUSTL essay go further in detail or mention other significant reasons why i want to go.

thanks

Neither. Also, be sure not to use the word "conclusively" to being a conclusion.

If you're writing a Why WUSTL, there's no need to be redundant in your PS or mention WUSTL at all. Think about focusing your PS on your experiences and how those experiences led you to law. In your Why WUSTL, go into specifics about how it will help you to achieve what you want to get out of law school.

Yup. Stick with one page, double-spaced and you'll be fine.
