Question about Boston College

Post by ivylucky » Wed Aug 17, 2011 7:45 am

It seems they have no page limits. Is it OK to submit a three-paged double spaced personal statement? I heard, by standard, law schools will skip the rest pages. Is it true?

If you're going to submit a three page personal statement, then you should apply to UCal-Berkeley law school since they love lengthy personal statements.

Exceeding the requested page limits tells the adcomms two things:

1. I don't respect your request, and by extension your school, enough to follow your instructions.
2. I'm not a good enough writer to edit my essay down to an appropriate length.
