Evaluate my LOR?

Post by JDndMSW » Fri Jul 15, 2011 7:43 pm

One of my LOR writers has asked me to review her draft of my LOR and I was wondering if anyone on this site would like to help me review it as well... thanks.

She is a lecturer at my University but I am really close with her as I had her for 11 units last year all in very small classes. I have a feeling though that she has never written a LOR before.. here is a quote from the email she wrote me:
"I need help in connecting what I've seen of your work with your aptitude for law school. Please don't be shy suggest other areas for me to highlight and feel free to edit my letter for better grammar or flow. OK?"

Anyways if anyone who has more insight and could help I would GREATLY appreciate it.

Be very careful about this. Make sure she understands the you need a CONFIDENTIAL recommendation. If she says on the letter, " I let the recommended see the letter, or anything else that suggests her LOR is unconfidential" It will SERIOUSLY hurt anything good she has to say about you. Make sure she understands this
