PS Length?

Post by admisionquestion » Wed Jun 29, 2011 7:13 pm

Okay, so two pages... but in what format?

Single, double or 1.5 spaced?
-
12, Times New Roman,
-
1" margins?

Is any of that up to negotiation? How does one upload a PS, just as a pdf?

Always, always, always double-spaced.

Times New Roman or Garamond are typical. A few schools specify TNR. Always use a serif font like TNR/Garamond, not a sans-serif font like Arial or Verdana.

1" margins are standard. A few schools require them. If it's not specified, you can adjust the margins a bit to make your PS longer/shorter, but don't get too far away from 1" on all sides.

You upload your document (Word or whatever) to LSAC and it converts it. When you submit an app, the whole package is combined into one big PDF file for the schools to download.
