How to get started early on personal statements?

Is there a way to get started early on the personal statements? Do law schools reuse same prompts often?

Any popular prompts?

appreqs.com

click the schools you are interested and hit print, it will give you all the prompts from last year. As youll be able to tell, most are pretty generic. Yale requires a 250 word expository on anything, and a couple schools have specific why X school additional essays

I wrote one PS and just tweaked it a bit if the school had a specific prompt.

There are some great examples of PS on this website.
