it's unique. It doesn't say much about you as a person. Honestly I don't get the 60 minutes thing. If you never had a dad, that might be interesting, but lots of people never have a grandpa. Parts of it are good. I would get rid of the whole 60 minutes thing. jmo

This needs an entire re-write. The Andy Rooney thing was a clever intro, and it drew me in. But then the PS got very awkward. The Andy Rooney story didn't tie in well, and your story didn't tell much about you--only your interests. You seem like an isolated smart person. While many lawyers may fit this profile, law schools are not looking for these types. They want diverse, interesting people that can bring a unique perspective to the entering class.

Here is a rare time I'd recommend not getting "too" personal.
