GPA Addendum Question

Post by Cmart050 » Fri Nov 12, 2010 10:52 pm

Hello all...

After speaking with my advisor today, she strongly recommended writing an addendum for my GPA. I have a 2.87/166 because a number of classes I took with the forgiveness policy obviously didn't count for LSAC. Anyways, I have an upward trend (2.42/2.77/3.04/3.3) after switching from 3 different majors my first two years to my current one (Philosophy). There isn't much to it other then that I worked full time and hated accounting, which is the one that sabotaged my grades my first two years. Is it worth doing? I'm obviously not trying to set the world on fire, just get into a Tier 2 school and work my butt off. I appreciate the help!

If your adviser gave you the go ahead and you can make a compelling argument I don't see why not.
